1990 HONDA CRX HF WITH A CLEAN TITLE
THIS CAR HAS A JDM F2.2 VTEC THAT CAME OUT OF
A 98 HONDA ACCORD. YOU CAN PUT THE H2.2 HEAD ON AND
MAKE THIS A DOHC MOTOR WITH TONS OF POWER AND TORQUE.
IT NEEDS A FEW THINGS TO FINISH IT.
THE ONLY THINGS THIS CAR NEEDS TO RUN AND DRIVE IS
A REAR (T) BRACKET FOR THE TRANNY MOUNT, A DRIVER SIDE AXLE, AND A DISTRIBUTOR.
THIS WAS ONE OF MY PROJECT CARS
AND NOW I HAVE TO MANY CARS SO I NEED TO GET RID OF IT.
THIS CAR HAS A NICE HEADER , A 8LB FADANZA FLY WHEEL ,
NEW INJECTORS , NEW FUEL RAIL , RIMS WITH GOOD TIRES ,
    ADAPTER HARNESS FOR A P28 COMPUTER ,
FULL INTERIOR IN GOOD CONDITION , AND SOME OK LEATHER BUCKET SEATS (OBX)
I HAVE TONS OF EXTRA PARTS FOR THIS CAR IN THE TRUNK THAT GOES WITH THE CAR.

If the body is straight and the fenders are good, offer him $1000 and take whatever he counter-offers. You could part out what you don't use and have a usable CRX chassis for just a few hundred bucks.

    H-series aren't bad; though I'd prefer a F22A for daily driving.

The F22B has much more potential than a B16, and gobs more torque.

I honestly would rather have the b16 than the f22 any day of the week, thats just personal prefrence, but its a much smaller engine, you still have plenty of room in the engine bay, and you dnt have to worry about having all the understeer putting those monster engines in there, and i feel more jdm having a b16a in my rex haha

There's really no noticeable understeer over a regular B-series setup; most of the weight difference comes from the balance shaft and transmission anyways. Physically the difference in size isn't significant either unless you run into issues with the hood closing(might as well go K?).

I stuck with the D15B for my "race car" because the less torque it has, the easier it is to push to it's limit. I'm personally not a fan of the B16 unless it's in the back of a Honda Beat or something(IMO, might as well go with an B18/B20).

For daily driving, nothing beats torque and long gears. You get up to cruising speed pretty fast and no need for many gear shifts. Also overtaking is much easier as you don't always need to drop gears.

While I agree completely that you should have a B series in a CRX vs and F/H series motor, calling the F22a a "hunk of poop" is just ignorant. Please tell bisi the F22 is garbage. It's one of Honda's best engineered motors period.

If the body and interior are good, buy it
