1992 prelude si

well a friend of mine is selling me a 92 lude si for 1800 but the tranny is not good. so if i buy it what other tranny would bolt on to the 2.3 dohc pgm-fi 16 and it has a 4 speed with 147.326 miles what do you guys think for that price and what tranny

is the car in good condition? if the motor is good and all the componets are good i say spending 4 or 500 bucks for a tranny and maybe 200 for install is a good deal for a prelude. ofcourse if its all in good cond...

yerp the only problem is that the lude is 4 hrs away and i dont have a way back with the car, so i will have to get the car towed i will have to pay big money.

now i found a crx and a civic for sale and i might get tham both for 2000 and the crx has had 1 owner for 17 years with 140,000 miles but i like the lude better
