I have an issue with my teggy. The bitch has an oem alarm-- it is like an immobilizer, it killed two starters in 6 months. How it works, it does not let 12 volt current get to the starter for like 20 minutes. It starts when it wants to. How do fix this? How can i remove it?

How sure are you its oem? were the replacement starters brand new? check under your dash and look at all of the wires coming from the top of your fuse box there should be acouple thick wires a yellow one and acouple striped ones, make sure nothing is spliced off of any of those wires, they control the battery/ ignition

easy way to go around it would to be run a new wire from the starter trigger to the black/white wire off of the switch, and as far as i know it did not have a factory alarm.
