1994 Del Sol Vtec

Hi guys. My friend has the oppurtunity to buy a used car. He found a 1994 Del Sol Vtec with 166k miles on it. The body is pretty damn fucked up. It has a broken window, and stock black steelies. Its basically stock (iceman intake). Its for sale for around 1500 dollars. He has the money to get a new paint job and replace the shattered window, along with some rotas. He is debating whether to get this del sol or an eK hatch. The hatch would remain completely stock with a little drop on it, due to money issues. Do you guys think is a good deal on the del sol, or should he wait out the eK?

honestly if he can afford the cash and time buy the fucker and part it, he'll make some cash on the deal. if its red I'll even take the seats off him

here's what you do:
-buy the del sol
-pull the motor and tranny out
-part out the rest, including the chasis(you'll probably make your money back parting everything out)
-save up a little bit and buy the ek hatch
-swap the B16 into the ek hatch

Problem solved, now you have the best of both worlds.
