1998 Honda Civic Wheel Stud Replacement?!?!?

I was trying to replace my wheel studs because two of my lugnuts and their lugnut threaded studs broke off. I took the caliper, rotor and brake assembly etc. all off, and found that the wheel studs cannot possibly come out the back of the base because they hit the lip of where the wheel bearing is being held. I don't understand how i can get those old studs out to put the new ones in....? any help please?
