1st gen engine swap

Ok here is my question
I have an 87 crx dx-hf, 1.5 d15a2 (carb)

I found an 88 or 89 acura integra cheap as hell
and it has b series swap in it but the body sucks ass badly and needs a lot of work


i have heard that mounting a b-series engine into and 1st gen is very hard
the only thing that concerns me is the wiring process

How hard is mounting and wiring it in
i am so tired of having a slow ass car
so someone please help me out thanks

yeah converting from carbs to PGMFI is gonna be some wiring
get an 87 si engine and trans and get side drafts for it so you can stay carbed

you can get the engine for next to nothing, a cam made for carbs for $300, and if you look in the right place you can find a set of carb manifolds for cheap
the only thing that would be expensive are the carbs, which you dont want to skimp on
get a nice set of webers or dellorto's

dont go b-series keep it old school

so what exactly do u mean by side drafts
never heard that before?
sorry i guess u could say i am a newbie but oh well

i know a little but about body work but nothing engine wise...

where would bea good place to get a manifold at?
if i decide to do it
i want a b-series but what ever is for the better

side drafts look like ITB's but they are carbs
muscle cars have downdrafts because the carbs flow down into the manifold

side drafts, well you should get the picture

redpepperracing.com is all about 3G civics and 1G crx's you should be able to find lots of info there

with a b-series your car will move but you'll pay out the ass to do the swap

so where could i get this cam at
and intake manifold???


and i still don't really understand what exactly side drafts are
but if they help out where could i get a set....

And i have beenm looking for some struts or something to lower the front cuase i have been looking and looking and i can't find anything is there something that would workother then something for an 87 model
cuase i think it looks stupid with the back lowerd and the front stock height

Side drafts are carbs that have the air inlet on the side instead of the top.
