ok this is probably a dumb question, but heregoes.

i think i heard that the new civic body styles (2002 ex?)
have a smaller engine bay than the previous years chassis
if so, does this make an engine swap into a 2002 civic ex harder due to less space?

yes. and the availbilty of motors is much less, and much more expensive.

on top of all things, the chassis sucks. the suspension is inferior, and its overall, a waste of money if you ask me.

sell the car for 15 grand that you can get for it.
buy a 92-95 hatch for 3
but what ever the fuck you want for a motor with your reamining 12k

oh nah, i dont own one of those cars, i got a 96 coupe. i just saw the engine bay of this girl
i was dating, it was a 2002 ex....and it looked so damn small.

will a b16 fit in there?

anything can be made to fit. wiring it up is tricky if not near impossible.

frankly, id rather thow a b18c/r in an insight over driving a new civic
