ok, so i know the 4-2-1, gives u bottom and mid end power. and the 4-1 gives u top end power. but which one gives u better 1/4 mile times....?
 
considering honda's well known reputation for making all of their power on the top end (esp. vtec models), i would ggo with 4-1 over 4-2-1 any day.
 
honda's have no hope for low end.

4-1 header like a motherfucker.

dont bother trying to make a honda have low end its just not natural for them
you want low end get a big block chevy or something
or even an H1 hummer (195hp @ 3400RPM...... 430lb/ft @ 1800RPM) you could pull down a building with that thing
 
i'm running a comptech 4-2-1 header.

i will always take midrange over top end, simply because i auto-x and will be road racing...where midrange is most important.
 
i will stick with my 4-2-1 until i have a better built motor, then i will switch to 4-1.
i still think a 4-2-1 is better choice for a mildly moded(bolt-ons only) car on the street.
 
I say 4-2-1 because from my own experience I get pretty good power throughout the whole powerband....My top end isnt that bad either.
