Ill be going camping in BANFF and then start heading back from western canada. Trip is expected to last 10-12 days. DO you think ill make it? Wish me luck! Estimated cost of gas, $1400-$1500

Banff: Home of Vermillion Lake, Wherein I was GOING to put my secret lair until the fucking Mounties stepped in.

Anyway, Add a zero to that gas bill. Love your map, you'll fit in well up north.

47 hours is also a bit optimistic from whoever created that map. 47 hours, if you're lucky, will get you half that distance.

now thats a hike !!!. Your taking a vehicle that gets shitty gas milage. Rent a car man . . No miles on your car and something Comforable with better gas milage. Your looking at more than 2000 for gas . Prob way more

The Expedition will be fine. I took this trip (A little longer) in my Civic though. And the CRX has been around the world (Which is only a step above riding a bike with a huge backpack)

This truck will be important once he gets to Banff. The roads in there are dirt, and winter travel isn't too easy. (Not that you're going in the winter, but still) Gas from the Canada border up and back will cost you more than $2000. It's US Equivalent $5 a gallon. My friends DOHC Navigator costs $120 every 4 days.

    Have fun with that :)

Hehe, ill be driving nonstop 2 days switching with my brother behind the wheel. I think we can each handle a day of nonstop driving. I wish I had more time then id stop by in every state and meet all of you guys LOL The expedition is the only car I have taken far, what have you traveled with? I took my mustang to moroso 3 weeks ago and smashed into an armadillo on the way home, not very lucky.

Lucky bastard. I drove 17 hours straight to and from Texas. Good thinkin with the driver switching, wish I had that. By the time I got to Texas I was ready for a nap, but I was only 3 hours from my destination.
