So I have a 90 accord and my friend has a 79 lying around. I'm just wondering if anyone has done the swap before or if it's even possible. I know that it'll take some custom work. I'll be doing a full swap ecu trans wiring harness.

I have no clue but get a tape measure first to see if it will physically fit

The car widths are only a difference of 3 inches fir the wheelbase and overall width. It should work. Also I'm willing to cut away and re fab the front end. I just want to know if the weight would be thrown off because I'm looking to run circuit with it.

The actual clearance in the bay matters more than anything. is it tall enough to close the hood and not drag the oil pan on the ground?

I imagine the f22 is 50-100 lbs heavier or so than the stock motor. If you're planning to cut it up anyway, it's probably a moot point.
