Will my factory 5 speed tranny bolt up to my b16a that I'm building for my CRX 86si? And since it is a cable tranny, and I'm am going with a cable tranny anyways, what is the best way to get a speedo signal?

the trans in your crx wont bolt up to any b-series block. get a used b-series trans and put that in there. your vehicle speed sensor (vss) is a mechanical type, not electric, so you'll need the mechanical (or cable) type sensor from the early b-series trans and it'll all slip together fine.

Yeah, it's pretty much the only readily-available USDM cable tranny. As much as people might complain about it, I didn't mind the gearing on mine (they're wide gears, but that's a good thing if you've got a bit of power to toss around).
