86 trans to D15 engine

I need to know if a 86 CRX SI trans will bolt up to a D15 engine. Anyone know?

I may be completely wrong cause i don't know shit about the d series. But I think the 88+ have different trans /engine patterns.

i'm pretty sure, no matter the year, that the ew4 si trans will not bolt to a d15 block...

the ew4 trans is very small

only 88-91 tannys will work in those cars because 87 and under wont bolt to the frame and the cross members
