88 accord carhging problem

so i have a 1988 accord with a f20 Fuel injected and for some reason the alternator is not putting out more that 8 volts when the car is steady running. at initial statrt up every once in a while it will hit 13 but steady reduce until it sits at 7.something. i have changed the alternator (this is my fifth one), battery and ran new grounds, and all the wires look good for the charging system (as in nothing looks corroded or cut or chewed). i would greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide cuz that car is how i have to get to work monday. thank you in advanced.
 
do you know where its located? that is the only thing i havent checked (mainly because thats the first ihave heard of it) and i have googled to see if i can get a diagram but i cant find one. all im getting is to check the black/yello (positive) and black (negative) to see if there is voltage, but i cant find anything in the engine bay.
