Hi, I'm looking at a 90 accord, 255000 miles on it, but needs a new motor due to a bearing going out in the motor. I found a decently priced h22a1 from an 88-91 prelude that I'm considering swapping into it. My problem is that I have to have a running car by the end of the month and cash may be an issue. It would be easy to replace the original motor, but whats the fun in that. Anyways, I wanted to know from someone who's done this before, what it took and what it ended up costing them. I forgot to mention that this is an automatic so far and for simplicities sake will probably stay that way, at least for now. My goal would be to getting driving asap and then to worry about the other things later. Thanks in advance,
Chris

88-91 Preludes didn't come with an H22A Chris.

That being said, read my article on the swap, and plan on spending near 1500 for a very basic do it yourself swap.(Motor, ECU, PS hose.)
