    i have a b16a and lsv tranny but its messed up so im gonna change the tranny to a ls but the shift link is stuck how can i get it out???? i got it free from sum guy he said he got it from his bro da that he totaled

    should i get a new tranny or shift linkage???

    Just FYI, I would advise against an LS tranny with a B16 engine. The B16 is very low on torque. It's only a fun engine because it makes decent power once it gets to the higher RPMs and into VTEC. The LS motor has more torque, but no VTEC and the redline is lower. The transmission is designed to reflect that, with longer gear ratios. If you pair an LS tranny with a B16, you're going to end up being slower then you would with a B16 tranny...
