I am in the market for a 92-95 civic hatchback (typical I know). Once I get the car I am looking to do either a b16a obd1 or a b18c sir-g /gsr obd1 motor into the car relatively quickly. I would like to supercharge the motor evenutally. What would be the best supporting mods and steps to be able to support the supercharger so that everyting is built up correctly.
If someone could direct me in the right path I am relatively new to this.
Thanks and your input would be greatly appreciated

I am a big advocate for NOT supercharging a Honda. I have only seen them on SOHC VTEC motors and they all SUCK! Like mid 16's in the 1/4....thats slower then my si was bone stock.

But I'm an Old School guy and remember when guys were super charging back in 97-98

Things may have changed and I'm out of the loop.

But even if I am wrong and supercharger cost the same as turbo....no brainer....turbo!

B16A is nice but B18C is more on the torque side for sure.

Superchargers need power to make power....that's why I think they don't belong on a four cylinder.

At 130lbs/trq....or less...we don't have any to spare in order to spin another pulley

Just my opinion though
