does anyone know how to chip an ecu from a h23a with vtec? i was told that if i put a h23a vtec in my prelude that i would have to get the ecu chipped because they only came with an automatic tranny? someone please help!!!!

I don't think that they are chipable, or if they are it's extremly rare

ok but the old stuff ie: headers intake oil apn and all that stuff should bolt up with no problem?

here is the deal.... i am replacing the engine in my 92 lude. i am going to buy an all remaufacured motor (long block) and for 300$ more i can get the h23a/vtec. heres the dilema, the jdm h23a/vtec only came with an auto tranny. so when i hook up the new ecu for vtec i will run into issues. how do i fix these issues? also i have been told that everything will bolt up just fine. but i want to make sure before i order a $2249.00 long block that i wont beable to use....any info would be of great help i want to order this today or monday
