    hello fellow honda lover's

I would like some Info on this swap if u guy's dont mind shareing some of ur wisdom.

    i have a 94 accord DX f22b2 5speed and i would like to do a h22 supercharged swap.
jaskson raceing offers a supercharged kit for a h22 but only 97+. does anyone know why they only offers it for the 97+ h22. also what kind of work is needed to be done to the bottem end of the engine to handle the extra power from supercharger piston rod's sleeves to keep it a daily driver.

i know the f22b2 ecu doesn't have a vetech control. i have a wreck 95 accord EX f22b1 am i going half to remove the ecu and wireing harness to do the swap or can i get a afftermarket ECU or hondata

The F22B2 doesn't have a VTEC (not "vetech") controller because it doesn't have VTEC. Just adding the wiring and ECU from the B1 won't do anything, you need to swap the entire head.

Oh, and forget the supercharged engine swap. Jackson's blower won't fit in your bay with the H22 in there...

No honda equipped with vtec has a vtec controller. They have ecu's with vtec functions that are triggered by the ecu to the solenoid.

To answer one of the original posters questions, they designed it for the 97+ because it was obd2 and can be made to pass smog in CA, ontop of being CARB exempt.

Also, the charger will fit with some backyard modifications, such as banging the firewall in. :)

how much banging would i half to do to get it to fit. aslo is the hood going to be a problem. and what botten end work would need to be done on a h22 (piston's rod's crank sleeves)

Well right, yeah. It seemed like he didn't know much so I was just trying to put it in his terms. My point was that you'd need an entire head swap or motor swap to add VTEC, it's not something you just wire in.

Jackson's blowers are made to work with essentially stock engines. You don't need to do any of that stuff really, although it wouldn't hurt. Keep in mind that you're limited as to how much power you can produce on a supercharger. If you're wanting huge power numbers I'd look into a turbo setup and engine build instead.
