94 Accord Ex, Removing Power Steering?

Just wondering if removing the power steering belt is the correct method to perform this modification and if it is worth it or not. Should the pump/pulley be removed as well? Thanx for your help, Dave

All you NEED to do it remove the belt. You can remove the whole system too if you want, and cap the ends of the lines after you drain all the fluid.

Will it free up horsepower? Yes. Alot? No. Is it worth it? If you don't mind turning a 2900 pound best without p/s (I've been doing it for 18 months).
