94 civic b18a1 swap from 89 integra ls

hi im new to honda swap and i have a 94 civic coupe and i can get a 89 intregra with a b18a1 for dirt cheap ,is it worth the time and effort to swap?if so what will i need to complete the swap?

The integra didnt come with a B18 until 1990, the engine that came in the 86-89 LS was a 1.6 DOHC similar to the ZC. D16a1, it will fit in your 94 civic with minimal work but not worth the effort. Now if you had a 85-87 Civic or CRX to put that engine in, then thats a different story rite there.

but it has the b18a1 in it instead of the 1.6l.

unless it was like a 11/89 because then it would be considered a 90

someone must have swapped it then.

Mechanically it should be the same as swapping any other b-series except for the fact that the a1 transmission uses a cable clutch.

Your main issue will be with the wiring, putting an OBD0 engine into an OBD1 car.
