Hello, well first of all. This is a hard topic to reasearch and I just cant find any good info on this. So if u think otherwise you can delete this post and I'll crawl away to my dark cave.
Question:
If I swap an OBD2 B18C into 1996 Civic (which is OBD2 also) will it be possible to read off ECU codes off of diagnostic port in the engine bay that is used by DMV to check for codes when inspection is done on 96-up vehicles?
I need to know this because in NY you can only pass inspection on OBD2 cars if you car is connected to computer and no codes are showing.
