I haven't looked thur this site yet 100%. I doing a H22A auto OB1 swap into a 97 OB2 auto. I'm using a H22a auto Trans because the f22 auto in a joke unless a turbo is being used. I've looked for a OB2 96 Prelude auto ECu but have yet to find one that is vtec. Because based on searching a some of the OEM websites such as majestichonda.com I've found that the H23a was used in the auto not the H22a. I want auto because swtiching to M/T is going to cost a lot more.
I've talked to some of the JDM sites and they use Rywire for OB1 auto. What are my options?
1. Find a OB2 ECU with Vtec for now.
2. Find a OB1 ECU with a atuo TCM OB1 with OB2 to OB1 adapter.
I understand electronics pretty well I just want to know if there is a option for keeping OB2 or it looks like OB1 is the answer espically if I want to tune down the road.
3. Is there a stand alone ECU that will over ride everthing else that I can install? Instead of a piggy back.
