97 Civic HX ECU

    I was wondering if the ECU from the 99-00 Civic HX (37820-P2N-A32) is compatible with one from a 97 Civic HX (37820-P2N-A22). Thanks.

    nope sorry to tell you but the 97 is obd2a and a 99 is a obd2b the plugs are different on the ecu obd2a uses plugs A,C,D and obd2b uses A,B,C
    BUT if you want you can buy a conversion harness and then you can use it but it's going to cost you around hundred dollars
    if you need a new ecu let me know my boy has a p2n at his shop from a 98 it's obd2a i think its automatic though
