99-00 si ecu

i was wondering if anyone knows if i can use my 99-00 si ecu with my 98 ex motor and if so will it make a difference or will it make my motor lose power

the EX harness will not plug into the Si ECU... plus... the 98 EX is OBD2a and the 99-00 Si is OBD2b...

98 civic ex = sohc vtec
99-00 civic si = dohc vtec

If you could plug it in, you might gain 2HP, but you can't plug it in so don't worry about it.

Yes you can chip obd2 ecus.
It is costly.
If you do want to pulg a p2t into a sohc civic hit me ill make you a harness.

and at this point, chipping OBD2 is kinda pointless cause all the chips are costly OneTimeProgrammable garbage...

OBD2-OBD1 + P28 or stick with stock.

btw, I resigned as PGMFI admin. I felt I was too big of an asshole to be the admin of the site. I wanna take a break and focus more on writing code for a while anyways.
