Was thinking of buying a B16B type r engine of ebay of a 99 ek civic. I am driving a 98ek civic with a 1.4i engine at the minute was just wondering whether it would be a straight swap or not? I have been told that it would be difficult to carryout this transplant because the chassis are different as the 1.4 chassis is an ej9 and the type r engine chassis is an ek9. Is this relevant; would this mean alot of work?
