Call the dealership, explain the situation, and see what they say. You might just be able to take the radio in and show it to them, and have them give you a code. Usually there's a charge for that, but the charge is actually for removing the head unit from the car. Since the unit is already out, you might be able to avoid the fees.

there is a serial number on the radio itself. when you call the dealership, give them that number and they can look it up on "hondanet"
