accord to accord motor swap!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a 1990 automatic accord sport edition...
and also have a 1988 5 speed accord carbed
is it possible to just swap the 1990 accords motor into the 88 and it will just bolt in and can i use the 88s 5 speed tranny?????????? and if anyone knows what else would need to be done such as ecu whise??????

Nothing about this swap would be bolt on. I would advise you not to attempt this...

thanks i think what im ganna do is fix up the stick and sell iit for someone who needs a car and easiest thing is drop a h22 in it but im workin on oiganal cars stripped what would a decent fast motor besides such as k seriers ive alreaddy pulled my motor for frame work so its a decision to put back in or have some fun with????????????

For which car? If it's the 88, then there's nothing really that will bolt in. A B-series would be easiest, but it will still require some fabrication. If you're talking about the 90, then an H22 or H23 will drop right in. Don't bother with a B-series, they're worthless in any 90+ Accords...
