Aem Intake Filter

    I just bought a aem cold air intake for my integra ls and i was wondering if the aem filter was waterproof. in other words i just want to know if i can drive my car in the rain and not have to worry about killing my motor thx

    no go out and buy a water trao youor filter is cotton and some oil

    By pass valve=$49.95

    Hydrolock is bad.

    If you have Cold air intake, for sure get the bypass valve. IF you have sort dick intake, dont worry about it unless your fording 3 ft puddles.

    If you've got the two piece kit, make it short ram air when the weather is bad so you don't have to worry about ingesting water. Takes a whole 30 seconds and is cheaper than spending $50 on a bypass valve.
