Antenna Shave.

Hey, Im sure this has been asked before but I was wondering how hard it would be to shave the antenna on my 97 civic. How much work and how would I go about doin it? Let me know, thanx.

The block off plate would be a hundred times easier and cheaper, and look almost as clean.

what is a block off plate and where do you get one?

not hard cut and fiberglass ----plate is fast but fiberglass is cleanier looking

jus get some bondo-glass from autozone.

when i did mine, i shoved my antenna down inside there, and then fully extended the antenna with a pair of pliers. that way, the antenna is fully extended inside the frame there. my radio still works great, too!

jus fill that li'l area up with fiberglass resin, then sand it smooth.

You can get it here. It is a small plastic cover that covers the hole.
