I have asked once b4 but nothing good came back

I have a b16a im getttin code 22 vtec oil pressure sensor

simple fix right?

well im wondering if the sensor goes bad often? I have cheched the wirering time and time again and its fine the right pin out and all..

this same sensor and same engine ran vtec fine then I wreched it the engine runs now but no vtec just code 22

so ?
can i chech the sensor b4 i buy a new one? or could the ecu not be responding to it im kinda newbish with wirering ... but i have a feel

i dont kno what i did but my engine code went away no more 22 no more codes atall crazy im expecting it to come back im thinkin its a short now ... well i guess ill enjoy vtec while i got it!

splice vtec pressure wire in to the vtec cylanoid wire. this bypasses the pressure switch all together.
