anyone into fish tanks? check this one out

I've got a five gallon tank that used to have quite a few fish, but only one now, but I can't identify him. Small, two vertical stripes along the sides that can appear or disappear depending on his 'mood'. He's currently going on 6 years old in a tank with only one air diffuser. His name is 'Fish' :)
 
well the idea is the bettas would go crazy and it would make for a great bloodbath er I mean show =)
