Apexi Turbo Timer On Na Car

Today I meet this kid who had this nice ass turboed integra. He pulls the key out, walks away and then about a minute later, the car turned off. So I asked why and he said it was his Turbo timer (Never really knew what they did) He said that all hondas should have them because of the fact it helps cool the oil down (said something like that) just like the turbo timer gave time for the turbo to cool. Also, the apex-i T-T has an air/fuel ratio meter (however, he said that the accuracy is only good if you buy a wide band O2 sensor) as well as O2 sensor voltage and Battery Voltage. Plus the other good thing, it is only a hundred or so dollars plus it is not a big old gauge.

So the question is, should I pick one up? Is it totally unessacry with NA cars?
 
i wouldnt waste my time and money on one for a n/a car

they are for turbo cars so the car can idle and pump oil through the bearings of the turbo as it spools down, so its not still spinning and overheating as the engine is off and not pumping oil anymore

and yeah the apexi turbo timer is pimp
