Auto- manual question

Does anyone know if there are any wires that need to be changed when doing a dpfi-mpfi swap and a auto-manual swap? I already have both done but the car is running extreamly lean and is very slow. the dpfi-mpfiis done right for sure ive already had other people check it over. the car will only rev to 5500-6000rpm before it cuts out or hits a rev limiter of some sort. it is driveable it just has a performance problem. i have a 89 dx hatch with a ls swap.

What ECU are you using? And any codes?

auto ls ecu and no codes. i also tried a manual b16 ecu and still had the same problem

only thing on a manuel i think is the reverse,starter and speed sensor that needs to be checked. on an auto there is a lock up control valve that gets plugged into teh computer to be controlled. check ur pgm-fi relay. i thikn they are different from mpi to dpi. im sure u checked it all im just throwin out ideas. hope it helps.
