I have an autometer pyrometer gauge that is working correctly. When you turn key on engine off the gauge sits at 2 while the car is cold. When the key is off it hangs below 0. Then when you start the car the gauge moves crazy bouncing up and down and will hold a random number and then moves around crazy again. The probe is mounted around 2 inches away from the turbo in the dp. The gauge is hooked up correctly and i believe the gauge is good. Is there anyway to test this problem? Has anyone had this problem or ever heard of it? I searched for a while and couldn't find much. Thanks:confused:

it should have trouble shooting tips on the directions.if you dont have them i think you can down load them from autometer web site.
