any one know if or how hard it would be to swap the driveline out of the awd wagon to a later model hatch (98) and does anyone know what series that motor is
 
werd. Waste of time. If you want any AWD at all, the crv drivetrain is the one to have, and even that one only transfers ~10% of the power to the rear. If you want AWD for the performance, go get a subaru, if just for daily driving in the snow/rain/weather, I say stay FWD, or just get a CR-V. They are nice. I don't know much about the k24 CR-V drivetrains though, or the new SL's SH-AWD, but that is way over all of our heads.
