B series head swap

Hi, I have a 97 Civic EX, and am curious if I could just swap out the d16y8 head with a DOHC b16a head and ecu and belts obviously. thanks

the letter at the beginning of the code should have tld you that. d-series swap with d-series, b with b, h with h, k with k and so on. those swaps ARE possible and ussually require very little altering of the actually head or block.

yeah, i didn't really think about the whole d series with only d series crap, haha i'm just kinda lazy about tearing out the whole motor, figured the head would be easier. aight, thanks guys

Turbo what you've got (200whp easy) or swap it out to a B block.

man you gat a long way to go b into d come on guy. swap in a b16a2 from a 2000 si drops right in wiring is messy but it will work
