B Series Header & Exhaust Question(s)

alright, here's the science... i got a 92 vx hatch with a jdm b16 sirII going in soon, im on a tight budget so im deciding to throw in a dc sports 4-1 header (non-jdm) that i have laying around...my question for you guys is this 1.) will it fit properly? 2.) im also gettin a car sound hi-flow cat so should i go with the 2.25 inlet/outlet with 2.25 piping into a 2.25 es/magnaflow, or 2.25 inlet/2.5 outlet with 2.5 piping into a 2.5 es/magnaflow and finally.... 3.) is mandrel piping worth the money to get or should i just settle with custom piping that a local muffler could do for me? -are there really noticeable gains? ... sorry if this is a repost and/or stupid questions...

oh yeah, the header is from a 95 LS...so will that still work with the setups listed above?

i would go with a 2.5inch collector header.
