b-series tranny w/ H22

yea, i've heard about it posted here

i guess B series have better gear ratio options...

but can the B series hold the torque from the H22?

i personally would rather use a H22 trans, but i suppose it would make a swap simplier using rods vs the cables etc...

It would be nice (if you have the h22) to be able to have shorter gear ratio's, but, you may have to get beefier axles because of more torque.
 
Intercrew did it 2 years ago in their del Sol...

And yes, the B can handle the extra torque. You think an H22 has more torque than a turbo B block?
 
A while ago, I saw someone on here making them himself and selling them. WAY before this... Shoulda got a patent.
 
not really, adapter plates are about as old as the transmission. American hot rodders have been using adapter plates to put chevy trannies on fords, etc, for years.
