b16 cams in ls head

i just pickedup a set of b16 cams and im pritty sure i can run them in my ls head i have p73 pistons but im not really worried about clearance, but i am worried about fittment in the head
please let me know

no they won't fit, do not attempt to put them in either.

Why do the CTR Pistons fit in the LS block then? Just a question.

Because they are pistons. The blocks are similar, but look at a VTEC head and look at a non VTEC head and you will see why nothing is compatible.

the point is simple -vtec cams - non vtec head..
#1 they wont fit
#2 even if they did it wouldnt do squat because ur head wouldnt engage the more aggressive "vtec lobe"
if you want to use those go buy the correct head, other wise go buy the correct cams for the application

Most importantly its becuase of how the mount so to speak. The Cam Caps go in between the Lobes of Non-VTEC cams where as the cam caps go on the outsides of all 3 lobes of hte VTEC cam.
