b16 high idle

I have a Civic with a fresh B16 swap.... here's my problem.
my engine is idling at around 2000rpm. it seems as though it will continue to idle at 2000rpm even when the engine is warm. but, if it's warm, and i restart the motor, it will idle around 1000rpm like i want it to.
any suggestions?

you either have a vacume leak of your idle scwrew is loose. could be a couple of other things. what year is your engine and car

it's an '00 civic and an '00 motor.
you think it's still a vacuum leak even though it idles fine after shutting it off and turning it back on?
literally, i can drive for 3mins and it will idle at ~2000rpm. shut off the engine. start it back up, and it idles at 1000rpm fine, with no problems.

your throttle body plate might be stuck open as well.

found the problem, my fast idle bypass valve is sticking open.

ARGH, now that the motor is cool, the idle is back up again, but this time a little lower.
1500rpm instead of 2000rpm with a new IAC installed.
any other suggestions anyone?
