if a 93 civic is obd1 and you put a b16a thats obd0 into it and have the right ecu and wiring harness shouldnt everything be ok? the b16a sir1 is only 1299 while the b16a2 is 2199. Id rather save some money. If Im going from a hydro tranny to a cable is taht a pain in the @ss?

the cable swap will end up around the same price and be unreliable,get the right obd for your car and have way less headaches

I agree there.
You're going to spend that extra money in just converting it from OBD0 to OBD1 plus the Tranny.

Its only $900 difference. 1000 Headaches aren't worth $900.
