B16A Tranny swap

Hi...i am new here and wanted your opinion on something. I have a JDM Civic SiR EK4 with B16A4 and auto tranny. I want to swap the tranny with a manual one. My question is, will any B16/B18 manual tranny fit? or do i need the Y21 tranny specifically?

Any hydraulic B-series transmission will work...

hi...good news is, i finally found the tranny. u cant imagine how hard it is over here to get these stuff

now, here is the thing. as my car is now auto with P2T ecu, do i need to change the ecu as well? i tried matching the ecu pin outs and found no connection for TCM.

however, i am looking for the PCT ecu for JDM Civic Type R with B16B motor...will that work?

Yes, you need to swap to a manual ECU. That PCT ecu should probably work well enough...
