B16A Transmission selection

I have a JDM B16A, running with the mated Y1 trans. the differential bearings are bad, the seal for the pass side axle input leaks like crazy, its difficult to shift into first or reverese at any speed or even not moving, and it's non-lsd. i plan on boosting this motor soon, and know i need to do something with this trans before throwing more power into it. I have looked into rebuilding it, but for the cost of parts alone, I would prefer to just buy a solid trans to replace it with. but i don't know which one...

I need a cable trans with LSD. I like the short ratio of the y1, even with boost. The S80 looks good, but do they make a cable S80?

If you have to have a cable tranny with LSD you'll need to get the JDM Y1, or a JDM YS1 from a X-Si, which I think will have the gear ratios closer to what you are looking for.

That sounds right. Has anyone installed a hydraulic trans in a car that had only cable before? is It even worth doing?
