how can i tell if the if a b16a1 tranny is lsd or not im about to buy this crx with jdm swap done and it supposly got lsd but i wanna make sure.

post the tranny code and we will tell you. there should be a sticker on the tranny kinda like this.

I know this question has been asked before, do a search. I can't remember what the answer is.

^^ You can't just check the tranny #, it might not have come with the LSD stock...I know mine didn't. A lot of companies like Hmotors put in aftermarket LSD's when you order an LDS tranny.

the only real way is to pull out and axle and see if you can see through the diff without seeing that bar going through. Don't know if that works with after-market lsd tho.

for 300 bucks im quite sure hmotor's has oem lsd trannys. just my .02

you have to remove the bell housing to tell if there is an aftermarket diff.

put the car on a jack with both front wheels in the air.

spin by hand the left wheel forwards.
if the left wheel spins backwards, its got a diff.
if it doesn't spin at all, or spins the same direction, its open diff
