B16a2 Obd1 To Obd2

OK.Here is the deal.I have a 98 civic hatch.I just picked up a b16a2 motor and tranny.It's obd1 though with a y21 tranny on it.It also came with a p30 ecu.What do I need to run this in my car besides the conversion harness for the ecu.I think I'm going to totally rebuild it first though.I already know about the putting an older engine in than the body is but they don't check it here so it's all good.Also,how do I read the casting numbers on the head.I really want to know this.One more thing,should't the crank turn freely without any binding.

you want OBD2 to OBD1, not the other way around. OBD1 has less restrictions that 2.
