i want to do a B17 or B18 swap on my 89 teg

how much would it run me all said and done?

and what are the pros and cons on B17's and B18's wich ones the better pick and price.

also where do i purchase motors from?
 
Well as i can vouch for it finding a decent b17 is next to impossible cause they where only sold in the 92-93 gsr tegs in the us. only difference is the stroke all the b series engine except for the b20 have the same bore just different strokes b18c has more hp then the b17 so its up to u.

U can try and find the b17 at a local junk yard same for the b18c also try hmotorsonline.com
 
www.hmotorsonline.com for motors. b18c would be the best choice, a lot of work will have to be done to get it running. tranny needs to be cable or a conversion kit , obd needs to match your car, ecu that will work with your car. i cant guess how much because of labor and other crap.

ok so besides the engine and mounts wut else do i need? do i have to replace my axles?
