Swapped in B18B (OBD1) into my 98 EK DX yesterday. It starts fine, but after a few seconds the engine sputters. Eventually it wants to stall, especially right after I gave it gas. I don't think it is ignition, because all cylinders are firing (new plugs, wires, caps, and rotors). Compression is good, and timing is good. That leaves me thinking it is fuel related. All injectors are firing to my understanding (I had to reuse the EK injectors but with the B18 rail). My EK did not have any fuel problem before so the fuel filter and pump should be okay.
I will probably do a fuel pressure test tomorrow. No CEL by the way. What else could I test for? ECU no good??
