I bought a 96 civic ex with a blown motor. I already own a b18a, ecu and trans.....I'd like to just use this stuff to put together my car. Is it possible and what all do I need if it is?

You got it besides the rewiring the alternator, distributor and injectors everything else should plug up may have to change some plugs, use a mount bracket from a 96-00 CRV for the rear tranny/engine mount. I did the same swap, oh and you can use a obd2 ecu from a integra ls/rs/gs instead of getting a conversion harness. Mine runs great and I am in the process of boosting it,

its more trouble then its worth, shoulda gotten a b18b, less trouble. It was a bitch to put it in my friends 94 civ.

its a lot of work.

most of the mounts are wrong
the tranny is not usable
the electronics are obd0 your car is obd2a

it's going to be a wiring night mare.

i say off the b18a for 1000 with tranny, and pick up a 96-98 b18b for a little more

Don't knock the conversion!

You can effectively make a B18A into a B18B without changing much at all. You just need the Intake manifold and distributor from the B18B OBD2.

Also, you would want to get the hydro tranny and axles, of course.
