So I'm working on this swap and I've got everything done except for the axles and ecu wiring. But u ran into a problem. The axles came with the swap but for some reason the intermediate shaft wont line up quite right with the bolt holes on the back of the engine. And the axle itself wont fit into the hub. I have 5 speed hubs off of another civic and the passenger side axle fits just fine. Could i possibly have the wrong intermediate and axle for the driver side? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

you need a 90-93 teg manual trans intermediate shaft and 90-93 axle, or 94-01 manual intermediate shaft and 94-01 axle. It sounds like you may have an automatic intermediate shaft though. They look very similar but you won't be able to bolt them up to the block. I'm not sure why the axle won't go into the hub though.. if its a 5 speed hub, then maybe it's a 4 speed axle?
no the 4 speed axles are smaller than the 5 speed..so i have no idea. i know its just the wrong axle. im goint to just have to buy the cv axle and find a intermediate somewhere. thanks for the advice. definitely not buying the intermediate from the dealer though lol 430 bucks. ill just keep looking around.
