Kids these days...
I did an ls swap into my ef hatch about a month or two ago and it runs and drives great, but when I start it up, it will idol high and as it warms up it will start to quickly flux between 400 rpms and 1100 rpms. It will do this every time I put my cluth in or go into neutral. It doesnt seem to be effecting the running of the condition, but it is super annoying and it is making it hard for me to sell the car. Can someone help me fix this? Thanks.

FITV(fast idle thermo valve)

buuuum.....buuuum.......buuuum..........buuuum......buuuum

gets annoying doesnt it? Google to find a fix...

the fitv is the screw on the throttle body right? i did the swap and it would surge and cut out like yours. i adjusted it but it was making no difference. i took the 2 screw plate of the back of mani and it was froze up. i sprayed wd40 and played with it... it fixed my problem...good luck

its either the FITV or the IACV..screw the plastic ring in on the FITV,if that doesnt work find a new IACV..and just forewarning you..at the autoparts store they go for $200
